Is That An Echo I Hear?

Many times when I'm cleaning the house and everyone else is sitting around watching tv, I ask why no one is helping. If you want to know my exact words, listen to what Etni said today.

Etni was vacuuming up crumbs from our living room rug. She stopped, looked at me, and said, "Why am I the only one cleaning?"

She will be the death of me.

I Should Be Proud?

Our baby, Katie was chewing on an extension cord, as usual. I pulled it out of her mouth and said, "Katie, you're going to die!"

Etni then said in a baby voice, "Yay, I'm going to die so I can live with Jesus again!"

I suppose I should be happy she understands where we go after we die? Haha!

Baby Store?

Etni walked up to me while I was holding my 9 month old baby. She had my purse on her shoulder and said, "Hello, excuse me, but I'd like to buy your baby."

She picked up the baby, walked over the couch and said to her herself, "Oh, you had a baby in your tummy?" "No, I got her at the baby store."
